Action Points from previous meeting
- Kitchen
Syd and Roy had met with Aaron Brundall and received a quote, based on a revised design, to supply and install the new kitchen. The price of £9,880.00 includes a PC sum of £450 for electrical works, all plumbing work, and removal of waste from site. After discussion, it was agreed that a dishwasher was not needed at this stage, but we should ask for the plumbing to be installed, and a cupboard inserted to cover the space. A decision was also taken to include an extractor fan and hood for the cooker. Syd had received quotes for a shutter roller blind for the hatch, but these were considered to be too expensive. Syd will explore other options. Shaun Attew will replace the flooring in February (NB a new quote is needed from him).
Total costs estimated at £12,180. We have grants so far of approx £7,000, with B&Q a further possibility. Added to our own funds (£6,500) it was decided to go ahead as soon as possible.

- Store Room Alterations: Mike proposed removing the dividing wall between the tables/ chairs storage and the current Fire Escape corridor. The outside door to the old football store (at present rotten) should be removed and the entrance bricked up. In the new enlarged area, a stud wall should be erected to seal off the storage area for the bar where the spirits are kept. This will ensure the spirits are kept secure, whilst the tables/chairs will be accessible. Mike offered to undertake this work at the end of January. Roy to ask Dan Canham (builder) if he can brick up the old outside doorway .
- Boiler: The heating was not working, despite new delivery of oil. A large amount of water
was coming out of the tank.( This problem was resolved on Friday morning Next Meeting: Thursday 27th February, as building work and Quiz Night are upcoming.
