Syd reported that grant applications are ongoing to: Morrison’s – hasn’t yet been able to upload quotes Bernard Sunley and Geoffrey Watling.
Also has written a draft letter to The Bartram Trust which he shared with the committee. Karen informed committee that The North Walsham Community Shop was another possible source

- MADRA football club contacted Roy, over the possibility of using the football pitch next season as they have an extra team, also offered tradesmen to help sort things facilities out if needed, Most Committee members decided it wasn’t feasible to have the pitch and rooms ready for next season, as pitch is no longer in a usable condition, only one match goal post as other was removed 2 years ago, showers not working and changing rooms have been repurposed as.., so Roy will tell them it is not possible.

Hall hire for the year is currently £1936.25 last year was £3501.20 at the end of May.
- Bookings and events update
- New bookings for Donna, also children’s party but generally diary is low on bookings
- Des asked if hall booking price with bar could be raised from 14 to £15 / hour to partly over increase in bar staff wage, agreed to now be £15/ hour still £9 normal rate.
- Barbeque event June 1st
Karen and Sarah have been asking local businesses for donations of raffle prizes for BBQ event – with much success.
Also prizes received donated by Tim Papworth and Neil Thrush
Karen to forward list of prizes to Graham to put up poster and advertise on Felmingham

Karen offered to sell raffle tickets
Graham to contact Mike regarding signage for the event, also will make a sign for the raffle.
Committee agreed to meet at 1pm on the day of Barbeque / social. Also need to help Mike put up a gazebo at the rear of the hall.

- Website is very out of date, Des agreed to look into it and update as necessary
- Graham enquired into the possibility of running a dart’s team at the hall probably on a Monday night, the committee were positive towards this. Graham will make further enquiries regarding players and leagues.
